• NRA Certification Courses NRA Certification Classes will be offered through the Lawrence Rod & Gun Club for firearm certification.  Classes are generally offered on the last Saturday of the month. These classes are open to the public for $90.00. Upon successful completion of the course, participants who wish to join Lawrence Rod & Gun Club will have the club initiation fee ($50) waived.  Contact Bob Kennedy at (978) 685-4293 or e-mail him at breakinbirds@comcast.net for further information.   The next scheduled course is Saturday, May 31^st starting at 8:00 AM.

• Hunter Safety Courses - Hunter Safety Courses are held periodically. Adults and young adults 15 years and older receive a Certificate of Completion and students between the ages of 10 and 14 years receive a "Letter of Completion" to meet out-of-state and MA requirements. • Pin Shoot - Weather permitting matches are held the 3rd Saturday of every month.  The next scheduled shoot is May 17th at 10:00 AM on the Outdoor Range.  For any questions please contact Art Mell, 978-687-9504 Extension 1, for details.

• Ham and Bean Supper - Methuen Rod and Gun Club - Saturday, May 17th, 4:00 to 7:00 PM.  Meal includes Ham, Beans (Kidney and Pea), hotdogs, coleslaw, potato salad, lasagna, pastry, and coffee.  Adults $7.00, Children under ten $3.00.
